Some people can do this on production software like Ableton, while DJs can do this on the fly in real-time. Though today, mashups usually include just two songs that are seamlessly woven into one another. ![]() He created what's regarded as the first-ever mashup in 1967 after he did a cover of the Beatles song You Can't Do That and overlaid over a dozen Beatles songs into one track. The song has gotten radio, club, and dance class support from all over the world. Shenseea was released in the last quarter of 2017. Mash Up International are, always has been, and will always be about pure joy and club energy. With one foot steadily rooted in Jamaican sound system culture, but with no scruples when it comes to experimentation. The Jamaican influences were ever present through Mash Up International’s career, but after visiting The Island they decided to explore them to the full extent. And after an endless journey, the trio returned to the music they fell in love with in their youth - Dancehall.
